Karen French was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. From the age of 12 she found a knack of writing poetry that has remained with her throughout her life. After finishing high school, she raised her family and when her boys were in their teens Karen studied and received her qualification in early childhood, which is still her current profession.
Some years ago, she created a page on Facebook where she would write poetry for people who couldn't quite express themselves. Karen’s ability to connect with others, and intuitively find words where they couldn't is what she considers her greatest asset as a writer, and has allowed her to embody the subject in a unique yet empathetic way.
With the love of writing stories for the children, and a knack for creative and descriptive writing, Karen made the decision to challenge herself and write her first novel Vengeance for Misery.
